Jordan A. Carter brings a well-rounded and strategically grounded perspective to her cases, shaped by a diverse background that includes experience as a personal injury attorney, a prosecutor and a civil litigator. This breadth of experience allows Ms. Carter to evaluate matters from multiple vantage points at the outset, anticipate opposing strategies and develop tailored, results-oriented approaches aligned with each client’s objectives and risk tolerance.
Ms. Carter has extensive, hands-on litigation experience and has managed complex matters through every phase of the litigation lifecycle. She is particularly skilled in navigating fact-intensive disputes, coordinating expert-driven defenses and positioning cases for efficient resolution, whether through strategic negotiation or trial. Notably, she has served as first chair in several trial matters, where she was responsible for overall case strategy, witness examinations, evidentiary presentation and jury argument. Her courtroom experience makes her an excellent advocate for her clients.
During law school, she was an active member of the Moot Court Society, Business Commercial Law Journal and served as president of the Black Law Student Association as well as National Black Law Students Association Midwest Region Programming Chair. She graduated as a member of the Order of Barristers and in the top percentile of her class. At Jackson State University, she was a student leader and actively involved in several organizations on campus, she also served as President of Gamma Rho Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and received numerous awards for her leadership skills, academic achievement and commitment to helping others.
Jordan is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and currently serves as a Commissioner for the City of Grand Prairie. Recently she was named as a 2026 Super Lawyers Rising Star and was honored as a Top 40 under 40 Black Lawyers by the National Black Lawyers Association.
